We are currently seeking an Early Career Civil Engineer to support our Oak Ridge, TN office. The Early Career Civil Engineer will be responsible for providing, design, permitting, and execution of land development projects across commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors under the direction of a Senior Civil Engineer.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited university
Minimum of 0-5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on site development
Experience with stormwater management design and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sole US citizenship required (to comply with government customer requirements and/or applicable government regulations)

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, HydroCAD, or similar) desired but not required

Responsibilities

Design of site development projects, including grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, erosion and sediment control, and roadway access
Prepare civil engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction documents
Ensuring designs comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, codes, and standards
