About The Position
Staff level Civil Engineer supporting production of Site Development plans for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Team oriented, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- EIT required
- 3 to 8 years in civil site engineering design
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (or MicroStation) and Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of stormwater, water and sewer, site layout, and permitting (local, state, federal)
- Willingness to learn from engineering staff; strong communication and problem solving
- Experience sitting for extended periods producing detailed drawings
- Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines; collaborative working style

Responsibilities
- Produce civil plan sheet sets for construction
- Observe installation, testing, and inspection of site utilities (sewer, water), proof rolls, SWPPP inspections
- Support senior engineers; resolve plan and field issues
- Perform hydraulics and pipe design calculations; draft drainage reports, watershed studies, project narratives
- Address redline comments from review agencies and senior engineers
