Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive engineering experience in municipal infrastructure, water resources, and land development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering and registration as a P.Eng. in Alberta.
- Proven experience delivering technically complex projects.
- Strong expertise in technical writing, including design reports, cost estimates, and regulatory documentation.
- Solid understanding of municipal bylaws, development approvals, and regulatory frameworks.
- Willingness to mentor and support the development of junior team members.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.
Responsibilities
- Apply civil design expertise to deliver integrated municipal infrastructure solutions, including water supply, wastewater collection, stormwater management systems, and transportation corridors, supporting resilient community development.
- Prepare detailed engineering deliverables including technical reports, cost estimates, and design documentation.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support coordinated and efficient project execution.
- Mentor junior engineers and technologists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Engage with clients, municipalities, and regulatory bodies to support project approvals and maintain strong working relationships.
- Champion sustainable and forward-thinking engineering approaches that enhance environmental resilience and long-term community safety.
