About The Position

The Civil Engineer will support planning, design, review, and construction of civil infrastructure projects for USACE. Kundlas Consulting Group LLC is a professional consulting firm specializing in construction inspection and compliance services for public infrastructure projects. Our core services include on-site inspection of roadway, bridge, and utility construction to ensure adherence to engineering specifications, safety standards, and contract requirements. We support clients with daily reporting, materials testing coordination, schedule tracking, and quality assurance oversight. Additional services include project management, grants management for federally funded infrastructure and disaster recovery programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience with site development, grading, drainage, utilities, roadway, or infrastructure design.
• Civil engineering, drainage, grading, utilities, roadway design, specifications, calculations, and construction support.

Nice To Haves

• USACE experience preferred.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• Civil 3D experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review civil plans, calculations, and specifications.
• Support grading, drainage, utility, and roadway design.
• Review technical submittals and RFIs.
• Perform site investigations and field inspections.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Support construction-phase technical issues.
