Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
6+ years of civil engineering experience; water/wastewater focus preferred.
Professional Engineer (PE) license in California is required.
Knowledge of site layout, grading, drainage, and pipeline/yard piping design; ability to grow technical expertise.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
Strong understanding of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with site design (layout, grading, drainage) and water/wastewater piping design preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare designs, specifications, drawings, and calculations, with support from senior engineers.
Assists the Project Manager where needed.
Provide technical expertise to multidisciplinary project teams.
Write technical reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
Support project management efforts from conception to construction; lead small projects and attend internal and external meetings as needed.
Lead civil design on small/medium projects and support larger, multidisciplinary projects.
Mentor and grow junior staff while expanding your professional expertise.
Opportunity to serve as Project Manager on select projects.
