About The Position
The Senior Civil Engineer will oversee civil project design phases. This role involves developing civil design schedules, leading design concept development, performing site layout and design, conducting flood studies, and developing pavement and roadway designs. The position requires coordination with various disciplines, direct client interaction, and maintaining engineering standards. Additionally, the role focuses on promoting a positive working environment and adhering to company quality control and project management procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering equivalent is required.
- Minimum 8 years of experience is required.
- Registered P.E is required.
- Functional knowledge of ASCE, AWWA, and International Codes is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.

Nice To Haves
- Proficient user of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop a civil design schedule to align with target dates for deliverables.
- Leads project strategy meetings within discipline, develops design concepts and recommends systems, produces pricing and proposal presentation documents, and outlines specifications.
- Perform site layout and design, grading, Storm water drainage, sanitary sewer design and erosion control design.
- Conduct flood studies.
- Develop pavement and roadway design for industrial and commercial projects.
- Coordinate with various disciplines for seamless project execution.
- Interface directly with clients and external partners.
- Maintain Civil Design/ engineering standards and procedures.
- Comply with Company’s Quality Control and Project Management procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
- Promote a positive working environment in order to achieve the organization’s goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
