About The Position

Tindall Corporation, a leading Precast Concrete Manufacturer in the Southeastern U.S., is seeking a Civil Engineer - PE. This role involves managing the design and drafting of projects, providing engineering interface across company functions, and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

Registration as a PE (Professional Engineer) is required.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering is required.

Nice To Haves

4+ years of related experience.
At least 2+ years of experience in a related industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the design and drafting of projects, utilizing internal or external resources.
Perform complex design tasks, especially when junior engineers are involved.
Generate designs and drawings for precast concrete systems from construction documents (architectural, structural drawings, specifications), or conceptual information.
Interface with sales, estimating, project management, operations, customers (general contractors, architects/engineers) for engineering package generation, submittal, approval, and to provide fabrication and erection details.
Resolve questions, conflicts, or issues related to engineering packages, submittals, approvals, fabrication, and erection.
Provide sales support as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
Ensure field observations are performed and document findings in Observation Reports.
Develop and track field repairs.
Lead two to four designers and one to two entry-level engineers on a project-by-project basis.
Check the work of Graduate Engineers and Associate Engineers.
