Requirements
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 7+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, with demonstrated project leadership
- Strong experience in land development and site/commercial design
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on time and within budget
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred; Civil 3D strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction plans, and design standards
- Experience working with local agencies, codes, and permitting processes
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects, including grading, drainage, utility design, and site development
- Serve as Engineer of Record where applicable, ensuring designs meet all regulatory and professional standards
- Manage projects from concept through completion, including schedules, budgets, and resource planning
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical oversight to designers and junior engineers
- Review and approve design documents, calculations, and design plans to ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness
- Coordinate with internal and external disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Architectural) to ensure fully integrated project delivery
- Interface directly with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to support approvals, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships
- Prepare and review submittents, reports, feasibility studies, cost estimates, and quantity takeoffs
- Perform and oversee grading design, drainage analysis, and earthwork calculations
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and jurisdictional requirements
- Identify risks, think outside the box, solve complex engineering challenges, and proactively drive project solutions
- Participate in project meetings, provide updates, and contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives
- Support continuous improvement of design standards, processes, and best practices
- Provide day-to-day direction and oversight to assigned team members
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team environment
- Ensure adherence to company standards, processes, and quality expectations
- Contribute to broader team and organizational initiatives as needed to support successful project delivery
