About The Position

Kleinfelder's Design team is looking for a Civil Engineer (P.E.) to work with their current team on various development projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. These projects include land development and power grid resiliency, as well as commercial, industrial, solar, and mining development projects. The position is available in Hunt Valley, MD (Baltimore) and Hanover, MD.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
8-10 years of experience in erosion and sediment control design, and post construction stormwater design.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3-D, and HydroCAD.
Engineer in Training Certificate Required.

Nice To Haves

Professional Engineering License preferred.
Understanding of Land Development Processes.
Understanding of Zoning Ordinance Review & Compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead current staff on the development of designs and plans related to site layout & grading.
Erosion and sediment control design.
Post construction stormwater management in multiple state jurisdictions (experience in PA, WV, OH, and MD is preferred).
Prepare NPDES permit applications.
Land development applications in accordance with federal, state, and local ordinances.
Zoning compliances.
