About The Position

BL Companies is seeking a Civil Engineer with a mid-level focus on Land Development for our King of Prussia, PA office. This role requires a professional with 4+ years of experience in land development, concept plan preparation, site design, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Civil 3D and possess strong communication skills. Requirements

4+ years of experience in utility design and/or land development, concept plan preparation, site design, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control design
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
BSCE
Excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

EIT Certification is preferred.
PE is a plus

Responsibilities

Grade sites and design of post-construction stormwater management systems.
In-Depth use of Civil 3D to prepare alignments, surfaces, cut profiles, and generate contours.
Assist the Senior Engineer in procuring municipal Land Development and NPDES approvals, including research regulations and attending agency meetings.
Coordinate with project team across multiple offices on design, permitting and construction components.
Prepare technical reports and plans to acquire permits and permit modifications during construction.
Research permit requirements and local regulations
Provide support and assist Sr team members.
