About The Position
Wilson & Company’s Omaha, Nebraska office is seeking a Roadway EIT with experience in the design of transportation infrastructure, notably streets, highways, and interstates. This role involves performing roadway design and modeling utilizing Open Roads Designer, working with experienced designers and project managers, and collaborating with other disciplines and subconsultants to deliver projects. The position primarily focuses on projects in Nebraska with opportunities to support regional projects. The ideal candidate will efficiently communicate and partner with peers, senior staff, and clients.
Requirements
- 0 - 3 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways in accordance with local, state and/or federal regulations.
- Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
- Experience in CADD design software
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification or the ability to obtain within 6 months.
