About The Position
Our Loveland, CO office is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer in Training to support our Roadway group. The ideal candidate will have roadway experience. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who enjoys working in a team environment. We are seeking a self-starter with close attention to detail who wants to work in a professional setting advancing their career in civil design. You will also collaborate with other disciplines, project managers, support staff, and clients to ensure successful task completion.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic and an understanding of engineering principles.
- Experience in CADD utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word and Excel.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to peers, senior staff, and clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related curriculum from an ABET-accredited school.
- Engineering Intern Certification.
- 1-3 years’ experience in civil design.
- Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians.
Nice To Haves
- Roadway experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation software is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic design of Roadway.
- Support production of construction plans and documents.
- Complete quantity take-offs and cost estimating.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, both internal and external.
