About The Position

Apex Companies is seeking a Civil Engineer in Training to support engineering projects that shape communities and protect the environment. The role involves preparing engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents; coordinating with clients and regulatory agencies to support permitting compliance; and preparing project budgets and schedules. The engineer will also support clients during bidding, contracting, and construction, help develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and provide technical guidance and quality control. The position is eligible for annual bonus opportunities and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the company's program terms and conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience designing transportation facilities for state transportation departments and local jurisdictions.
• Experience with ITD procedures and requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads, and Geopak design software.

• Civil engineering experience is preferred.
