Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • EIT required
  • 1-4 Years of experience in the infrastructure engineering industry
  • FDOT experience highly preferred
  • Civil3D
  • MicroStation
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
  • Availability and willingness to travel
  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the completion of construction projects by preparing engineering design and documents and confirming specifications
  • Assist in the design of construction projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings, and models
  • Assist in preparation of engineering designs by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs, and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data
  • Assist in determining project costs by calculating labor, material, and related costs
  • Assist in the creation of feasibility studies by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies, and assembling data
