About The Position
Geospatial Data, Inc. (GDI) is seeking a Civil Engineer with an EIT certification to join our team in Amarillo, TX. This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer who wants hands-on project experience—not just drafting behind a desk. You'll work alongside licensed PEs on real municipal and commercial projects, gaining the breadth of experience needed to grow toward licensure. GDI offers real project exposure, mentorship from licensed PEs, the chance to contribute to local infrastructure, and the tools and support needed to succeed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT certification required
- 2+ years of experience in civil engineering
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to municipal or commercial development preferred
Responsibilities
- Support design of water, wastewater, sewer, and lift station systems
- Assist with commercial and municipal civil engineering projects
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and city/county staff under PE oversight
- Help manage project deliverables from concept through construction
- Maintain strict client confidentiality
