About The Position

Robson Forensic is seeking a Professional Engineer (P.E.) with 15 or more years of hands-on Construction Management experience and a deep understanding of construction management and construction site safety. This role involves determining why incidents occurred by investigating construction incidents, analyzing construction site procedures, applying comprehensive knowledge of standards and practices, writing clear, scientifically sound reports, and providing expert testimony. Prior forensic experience is not required, as the company hires for deep industry knowledge and provides training. The work blends collaboration with autonomy within a firm of over 100 scientists, engineers, and other professionals, managing a portfolio of 50-70 projects/clients. Approximately 20% of the role involves travel for training and inspections, with the remainder dedicated to analysis and report writing.

Requirements

• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering
• 15+ years of hands-on experience in construction management, including commercial, and experience with quality control and safety issues on construction sites.
• Thorough working knowledge of contracts, means & methods, scheduling, estimating, and subcontractor management.
• Excellent technical, analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Strong ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, objective evidence for non-technical audiences.
• A clean background screen, a driver’s license, and the ability to drive.
