Requirements

  • A seasoned heavy civil leader experience delivering DOT, roadway, bridge, or infrastructure projects
  • Experienced working with state DOTs (e.g., Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT)), municipalities, and public funding requirements
  • A hands-on Senior Project Manager who owns safety, schedule, budget, and client relationships from start to finish
  • Strong in cost control, forecasting, and managing project profitability
  • A trusted leader who builds high-performing, accountable teams
  • A clear communicator who partners effectively with field teams, inspectors, and agency representatives
  • Organized, results-driven, and confident managing multiple complex projects and competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management teams in delivering DOT, roadway, bridge, and civil infrastructure projects
  • Serve as the primary liaison with DOT agencies, municipalities, and public stakeholders
  • Own overall project performance—safety, schedule, budget, and profitability
  • Oversee execution from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring alignment with plans and specifications
  • Manage contracts, change orders, and compliance with DOT regulations and reporting requirements
  • Collaborate closely with superintendents, engineers, and field teams to drive production and resolve challenges
  • Mentor and develop Project Engineers and Project Manager.
