Our Civil Engineering team delivers a broad range of services, including site selection and planning, spatial analysis, digital terrain modelling, earthworks and site grading, drainage and flood modelling, and flood impact assessments. We work closely with our broader counterparts to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions across renewable energy and mining projects. With a strong pipeline of secured work, a recent major project win, and continued growth across key sectors, we are seeking a Civil Designer to play a key role in project delivery and contribute to the ongoing development of our design capability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in civil design
- Time in a similar senior or lead designer role
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and 12D
- Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Comfortable working in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams
- Strong safety focus
- Attention to detail
- Ability to build effective working relationships
- Well-developed communication skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
- Committed to continuous professional development
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Civil 3D
- Experience with Open Roads
- Experience in renewable energy projects, particularly solar farms
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality civil design outputs using Civil 3D or 12d
- Develop and manage 3D earthworks models and associated 2D design documentation
- Produce detailed design and construction drawings (concept through to IFC)
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Liaise with engineers, lead designers, and junior team members
- Support and mentor junior designers where required
- Prepare material take-offs and quantity estimates
- Ensure all deliverables meet required technical, quality, and drafting standards
- Contribute to safe, efficient, and compliant project delivery
