Civil Designer - Water/Wastewater
About The Position
Our engineers design and deliver reliable, resilient, and sustainable infrastructure that directly protects public health, supports community growth, and shapes the environments where we live and work. As a Civil Designer, you’ll support a variety of public infrastructure projects and learn how smart design strengthens communities. From wastewater treatment, collection, and disposal to surface water sources, groundwater wells, drinking water treatment, storage, and distribution—plus collaborating on high-profile private development projects—you will gain unmatched technical exposure and leadership opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 0–2 years of experience.
- EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and curiosity about public infrastructure
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Civil 3D and Revit (preferred, not required).
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing facility and utility designs.
- Produce drawings, plans, cost estimates, and technical documents.
- Conduct site visits and assist with construction observation and data collection.
- Support senior engineers in evaluating design alternatives and solving technical challenges.
- Engage in design training and mentoring activities that build technical foundation.
