THD Design Group is seeking an Experienced Civil Designer/Engineer to join their team. THD Design Group is a comprehensive Engineering Services company with over 30 years of experience, providing Civil Engineering Design, Geotechnical Engineering, Land Surveying, and Construction Management for both public and private sectors. They utilize expertise and state-of-the-art technology to ensure efficiency and accuracy from preliminary design to final construction stages. The company has a history of providing economical and efficient designs for various projects, including single-family residential, large commercial and industrial developments, and municipal projects. Requirements
- Six years civil site plan and/or residential construction design experience
- Six years AutoCAD software experience
- Six years Civil 3D software experience
- Strong problem solving and resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to communicate via email and verbally.
Nice To Haves
- Familiar with MSD, St. Louis County and St. Charles County Highway standards
Responsibilities
- Prepare design plans for residential subdivisions and commercial sites.
- Work with Project Managers and clients on the design of subdivisions, multi-family residential complexes, commercial and industrial site plans.
- Develop or modify deliverables based on rough sketches, marked-up copies, and/or detailed verbal instructions.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D software on a daily basis.
