About The Position

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days in the office and two days remote. The position provides an opportunity to work with multi-disciplined engineering and design project teams to develop 3D models of civil grading and structures, producing civil drawing deliverables within CAD software. As a member of the Civil Design team, you will develop civil layout drawings in a 3-D model. Challenging assignments include all phases of civil grading design, such as roads, ditches, drainage ponds, finish surfacing plans, and permanent fencing plans, as well as investigating and solving civil design issues. You will independently and as part of a team, interpret and coordinate topographical data to plan and execute civil design deliverables. This includes participating in the coordination of detailed design phases for an integrated 2D/3D civil design model, which may encompass underground piping, building entryways, erosion control plans, traffic control plans, waterway barge unloading, and switchyard grading and drainage. You will also provide support to other designers and project team members across all engineering and design business units to ensure complete and timely design.
