About The Position

Requirements

Three(3) years of professional experience
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
Valid California Driver’s License
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (no visa sponsorship available)

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing civil engineering drawings, plans, and design documents for infrastructure and construction projects.
Support the design of grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and site development plans under the guidance of senior engineers.
Use AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering software to develop and update design drawings.
Perform basic engineering calculations and quantity take-offs.
Coordinate with project team members to ensure design accuracy and timely project delivery.
Review project specifications, codes, and standards to support compliant designs.
Assist in preparing technical reports, permit applications, and construction documents.
Participate in site visits and field inspections to collect data and support project execution.
Address design revisions and assist with resolving construction-related issues.
Maintain organized project files and documentation.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and contractors as needed.
Support senior engineers and project managers with daily project tasks and coordination activities.
