About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with a focus on site and land development projects. This role requires excellent project management, client management, and technical skills, as well as a deep understanding of local regulations and permitting processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from conception through completion, ensuring high standards of quality and professionalism.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas (or ability to obtain quickly)
• 6+ years of civil engineering experience
• Minimum 3+ years managing projects from concept to construction focused on site/land development
• Strong project management experience with proven results
• Stellar client management skills with the ability to strategize and articulate issues with clients
• Comprehensive understanding of local site development regulations and permitting processes
• Firm grasp of AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to maintaining a strong sense of professionalism, ethics, and high standard of quality work
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering projects from concept to construction, with a focus on site/land development.
• Oversee projects from initial planning through the construction phase.
• Develop and implement project strategies.
• Communicate and articulate project issues effectively with clients.
• Ensure compliance with local site development regulations and permitting processes.
• Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for design and drafting.
• Foster strong client relationships and manage client expectations.
