This Civil Construction Engineering Internship is designed for individuals seeking their first internship or ready for the next step in their budding career. Interns will work alongside Benesch’s Construction Engineering professionals, supporting the inspection and documentation of road, water main, and sewer construction projects. This role offers hands-on field experience, exposure to construction observation, project documentation, and the opportunity to learn directly from experienced engineers and project managers.

Requirements

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently within budgets and schedules.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

EIT preferred.
Experience working on field projects.
Familiarity with ArcGIS, MicroStation, GeoPak, and/or AutoCAD.
