Requirements

Proven experience as a construction foreman, preferably in civil construction.
Strong leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal communication skills.
Comprehensive understanding of equipment operation in construction settings.
Excellent numeracy, record keeping, and technology proficiency.
Ability to read and interpret plans, grade stakes, and operate laser levels.
Competent at handling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced knowledge of landscaping principles including grading, planting, and hardscaping.
Valid driver’s license required.
Candidates will undergo an in-person equipment and competency evaluation prior to employment to confirm skills and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Directly lead and participate in project construction tasks from planning to completion.
Collaborate closely with the project Superintendent to forecast material, manpower and equipment needs.
Assign tasks and manage crews to meet project priorities effectively.
Ensure safe and proper use of machinery and equipment on-site.
Maintain Wilco’s reputation for quality and safety excellence.
Oversee subcontractor adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Train and develop team members following Wilco’s safety and procedural standards.
Create and sustain a positive and fair work environment by enforcing company policies and fostering open communication.
