Under the direction of the Heating Management Services Department (HMSD) Deputy Director, this role involves coordinating, reviewing, and collecting heat and hot water data from various internal NYCHA systems. The position requires making and recording observations on data evaluation, including productivity reports and daily operations. It also involves establishing and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, tracking and analyzing heating data related to legislation and regulatory proposals, and preparing various documents on housing heating policy and programs. The role includes monitoring operations for compliance with Housing Authority policies, researching housing policy issues in relation to state and federal regulations, providing leadership to agency personnel in heating endeavors, and participating in conferences and meetings related to research projects. Collaboration with other agency departments such as Property Management, Research, and the Compliance Office is also a key aspect of this position.
