About The Position
The City of Eustis is seeking a strategic, results-driven executive leader to serve as its next City Manager. This role involves guiding complex municipal operations and delivering high-impact community outcomes. The ideal candidate will be experienced in municipal management and economic development, skilled at building relationships with elected officials and the community, and proven in leading organizational performance and delivering major projects. Eustis is a vibrant lakefront community in Central Florida with a population of 25,067, offering a relaxed lifestyle with convenient access to Orlando. The City Manager acts as the Chief Executive Officer, overseeing all municipal operations under a council-manager form of government with a five-member City Commission. The position requires a strategic, action-oriented leader with a strong background in municipal management, economic development, and organizational leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- 5–10 years of executive-level municipal leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of municipal finance and operations
