Under the direction of the City Manager’s Office of Violence Intervention and Prevention, this limited-term position (ending March 31, 2029, contingent upon continued funding) is responsible for incident response to engage very high-risk individuals subject to violence. The role involves offering support and services, discouraging retaliation, building relationships with victims, their families, and networks. Responsibilities include responding to various locations to contact high-risk clients, coordinating and facilitating community events in high-violence areas, establishing a positive presence, and engaging high-risk individuals and groups to offer support.
