About The Position

R+L Carriers is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented City Dispatcher to work in our Sauget, IL Service Center office. This is a full-time position with a Monday - Friday schedule from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. The yearly salary range is $75,000.00 - $80,000.00. Employees earn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment. Come and experience the difference with R+L Carriers.

Requirements

• Proven basic leadership experience
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment
• Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred
• Computer skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areas

Nice To Haves

• Prior LTL leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Driver and Freight Handler Management
• Coordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler scheduling
• Ensure Safety Compliance
• Ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed
• Timely dispatching of LTL Loads
• Other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager
