About The Position
Citizens Bankers are the face of the branch, dedicating their time to understanding customers and building lasting relationships by offering trusted advice. This role involves using strong communication and problem-solving skills, along with broad financial knowledge, to provide recommendations and assist customers with financial solutions for spending, saving, borrowing, and investing. You will get to know customers' personal financial goals and recommend tailored solutions, introduce digital and mobile banking methods, and collaborate with partners in Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking for complex needs. Additionally, you will make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkups, ensuring adherence to all financial policies, procedures, cash handling, and relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
- High School degree or GED required
- Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese
- 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals
- Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship
- Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions
- Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
- Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
- Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners and specialists through collaboration
- Self-motivated, confident and ability to multitask effectively
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
- Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including successful completion of pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS.
