About The Position

Provide Tier 2 support for the AMHS network with secondary responsibilities supporting SmartNetData Intelligence network hardware and software management. This role involves monitoring and maintaining Cisco network equipment, responding to escalated network incidents, and coordinating with Cisco SmartNet support. The engineer will also be involved in preventive maintenance, inventory management, and supporting end-of-life equipment planning. Additionally, the role requires participation in project planning, technical reviews, and collaboration with various teams to improve and standardize operations.

Requirements

Experience with general networking technologies and concepts.
Willingness to participate in technical training and continuously develop job-related knowledge.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain Cisco network equipment in the Data Center, MCP Room, and Fab.
Respond to escalated network incidents, troubleshoot failures, replace faulty switches, and perform post-recovery monitoring.
Coordinate with Cisco SmartNet support for technical escalations and RMA replacements.
Conduct preventive maintenance and review network equipment OS versions and upgrade recommendations.
Maintain accurate inventory and replacement records for switches, SFPs, power supplies, and cables.
Support end-of-life equipment planning, BOM preparation, hardware purchasing, and quotation reviews.
Review network change requests, installation plans, and release schedules.
Participate in project planning, technical reviews, and cross-functional coordination.
Prepare and update SOPs, inspection checklists, 8D incident reports, and KPI reports.
Collaborate with SAS AMHS and Network teams, Daifuku, and relevant Samsung Korea teams to improve and standardize operations.
