Circulator Technician - Part Time - Murray
About The Position
The IR Center Circulator Technician works closely with the Interventional Radiologist, Nurses, and Scrub Tech to deliver high-quality patient care before, during, and after surgery. This position is based at the Murray Midtown location and involves maintaining a sterile environment, managing surgical supplies, monitoring patient safety, and documenting procedural details. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 8 am to 2 pm. This part-time role is in a fast-paced IR Center setting, often with irregular shifts three to four days a week. It requires collaboration with healthcare professionals and adherence to strict infection control protocols. Pay is $19–$25 per hour.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant education from an accredited program.
- Certification as CMA (AAMA), RMA, CCMA, or CMAA.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique.
- Willingness to learn to scrub.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
- Effective communication with multidisciplinary surgical teams.
- Attention to detail in documentation and patient care.
- Physical stamina for repetitive motions and prolonged standing while wearing lead aprons.

Responsibilities
- Maintain a sterile field and monitor the surgical team’s needs.
- Deliver instruments, supplies, and medications as directed.
- Assist with non-sterile patient positioning.
- Manage documentation.
- Anticipate and respond to changes in the surgical situation.
- Learn to scrub cases if the Scrub Tech is out of the office.
