About The Position

GDIT is seeking a Circuit Actions Technician II to perform intermediate experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Tech Control Facility equipment. This role requires technical knowledge to solve complex problems, understand circuit interrelationships, and exercise independent judgment in supporting communications systems. The position involves intermediate experience in circuit actions at various command levels and requires a Secret clearance.

Requirements

Intermediate experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Tech Control Facility equipment.
Experience with NET Promina equipment.
Experience with KG, KY, KIV and ancillaries.
Experience with CISCO Routers/Switches.
Experience with Patch panels/maintenance panels.
Experience with Fiber optic modems and interface cards.
Technical knowledge to solve complex problems.
Understanding of circuit interrelationships.
Ability to exercise independent judgment.
Intermediate experience in circuit actions at the base, camp, station, MAJCOM, Unified Command, or Component level.
Must meet the certification requirement of DoW 8570.01-M or otherwise stated in SPIN-C or individual task order.
Possess Security+ certification.
Possess Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Routing and Switching or Service Provider certification.
US Citizenship Required.
Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

Perform intermediate experience in maintenance/troubleshooting of Tech Control Facility equipment as specified in the task order.
Maintain and troubleshoot NET Promina equipment, KG, KY, KIV and ancillaries, CISCO Routers/Switches, Patch panels/maintenance panels, and Fiber optic modems and interface cards.
Solve complex problems related to communications systems.
Understand the interrelationships of circuits.
Exercise independent judgment in performing tasks in support of communications systems or equipment.
Perform intermediate experience in circuit actions at the base, camp, station, MAJCOM, Unified Command, or Component level.
