We are seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV Field Technician to join our growing operations team. This position is responsible for performing CCTV inspections of sewer and stormwater systems, supporting trenchless rehabilitation projects, and ensuring accurate reporting and high-quality service delivery in the field. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detailed-oriented, and experienced in underground utility inspection operations. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced field environments while maintaining professional communication with clients, supervisors, and team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2–5+ years of CCTV pipeline inspection or related utility field experience preferred
  • NASSCO PACP certification preferred (MACP/LACP a plus)
  • Experience operating CCTV inspection equipment and reporting software
  • Knowledge of sewer systems, storm drainage systems, and underground utilities
  • Experience with trenchless technologies such as CIPP and Quick-Lock preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
  • CDL preferred but not required
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather and field conditions
  • Must follow all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and site-specific safety requirements
  • Required to wear PPE and maintain a safety-first mindset at all times
  • Work may involve confined spaces, hazardous environments, and physically demanding tasks
  • Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting of more than 100 pounds with proper assistance
  • Ability to stand, walk, crouch, crawl, bend, climb, and work in varying terrain and environmental conditions
  • All employees must undergo a pre-employment background check and substance screening process prior to being considered for employment.
  • Must be comfortable working outside year-round in all types of weather.
  • Exposure to varying levels of physical activities. Standing, crouching, walking, crawling. Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 pounds or more.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CCTV inspections of sewer and stormwater systems using industry-standard camera equipment
  • Read and interpret site plans, maps, utility drawings, and municipal specifications
  • Accurately identify, code, and document pipeline defects in accordance with NASSCO PACP, MACP, and LACP standards
  • Complete daily logs, pre-trip inspections, fuel logs, and reports using tablets and company systems
  • Coordinate daily job activities with supervisors, crew members, and clients
  • Maintain high production levels without sacrificing quality or accuracy
  • Lead and support field helpers to ensure efficient workflow and safe operations
  • Assist with trenchless repair installations, including CIPP sectional liners and Quick-Lock systems
  • Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and organize CCTV equipment, trucks, cameras, tractors, and tools
  • Monitor gas pressures and ensure proper operation of camera systems and ancillary equipment
  • Conduct daily inventory checks and maintain clean, organized vehicles and equipment
  • Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site-specific protocols
  • Adhere to company driving standards and DOT regulations (if applicable)
  • Understand and follow project specifications and municipality requirements
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address field challenges and changing site conditions
  • Participate in cross-training opportunities including: Manhole inspections (Clever Scan), Internal pipe repairs, Camera maintenance and minor repairs, Utility locating and lateral locating
