About The Position

KBR's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to customers in the intelligence and national security communities. This position involves work that has a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting national security. KBR's work is at the forefront of engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT, and cybersecurity solutions. This is a contingent position based upon contract award. KBR is seeking a highly qualified candidate to act as Team Lead for a team supporting the Chief Information Office (CIO) at a government customer in the Northern Virginia area. The CIO Team Lead will lead and manage a team of contractors/subcontractors, directing their efforts and serving as the primary point of contact with the government customer on technical execution and project issues.

Requirements

CURRENT and ACTIVE TOP SECRET / SCI security clearance.
Four years of experience managing projects providing project enterprise Information Technology (IT) Operation and Maintenance (O&M) support and IT enhancement projects.
Experience providing technical support materials for senior leaders such as strategic papers, options analyses, executive briefings.
Demonstrated experience performing executive action tracking.
Experience guiding program performance, resource planning, and acquisition/procurement strategy.

Nice To Haves

Experience translating mission priorities into actionable IT roadmaps, investment plans, and measurable outcomes as it relates to counterintelligence and security missions.

Responsibilities

Manage and direct all project operations of the team operating from multiple work locations.
Brief leadership on program status and milestones.
Develop procedures for successful program execution.
