About The Position

Nen Creative is seeking a technically sharp, hands-on cinematographer to join its team in the Bay Area. The role involves shaping and executing the visual approach for a range of productions, including founder interviews, talking heads, commercials, and brand films. The cinematographer will work closely with directors, producers, and the creative team, and will own or help own camera, lighting, and grip setups. The role also supports post-production by managing footage, setting up organized DaVinci Resolve projects, color grading, and creating final exports as needed. This position is based in San Francisco, with on-set work in the SF area 3–4 days per week. Candidates based elsewhere must be willing to relocate to the Bay Area; a relocation stipend is available. The role is suited to someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented, passionate about the craft of cinematography, and comfortable working within real-world production budgets and a fast-moving agency environment. Occasional travel, weekend work, or after-hours production work may be required.
