About The Position
Dolby is seeking a Cinema Technical Operations Coordinator to provide temporary support during awards season, a period of increased screening activity, partner engagement, and operational demand. This role will provide on-site support for screenings and events, operate and monitor cinema projection and audio/video equipment, and support daily screening room operations. The position involves serving as a point of contact during screenings, assisting with basic troubleshooting, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners. This contract role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to gain hands-on experience in screening operations and partner events within the entertainment industry.
Requirements
- Experience with digital cinema projection is preferred.
- Interest in cinema, media, entertainment technology operations.
- Basic knowledge of audio/video equipment or a willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Comfortable working on-site and supporting evening screenings or events.

Responsibilities
