Job Summary Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications. Responsible for continuously driving a culture of excellence in the organization, coaching and enabling waste removal activities using lean and six sigma approaches and tools and guiding actions to a sustainable conclusion.
Requirements
- Typically requires 2 years of experience in related field.
- Use of the following tools may be required: Pipe cutters, drills, power tools, lean and six sigma tools, maintain catalogue of work stations, trolleys etc.
- Telephone skills, data entry, office software to include, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation.
- Demonstrates advanced technical skills which may be used to conduct on-the-job training and/or lead/guide other employees.
- Highly skilled with ability to move between projects.
- Demonstrates broad knowledge of functional techniques and has input to process improvement.
- Hands on shop floor support (80%) of the time
Nice To Haves
- Familiar with and able to use Moonshine tools and machines effectively.
Responsibilities
- Support lean and six sigma activities as defined in the GBE A3.
- Support in designing and building workstations, supermarket racks, benches, trolleys etc.
- Ensure good 5S in the work area.
- Implement identified Best practices timely.
- Prepare and upload completed kaizen projects in the BE on-line Systems.
- Maintain and update various indicators on the lean gallery and other defined locations.
- Assist with training operators and technicians on new processes, tools, and standards
- Participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and safety
- Conducts time studies
- Utilize 3D printers to support fixture design, go-no-go gages and tools.
- 5S markings for common areas
- Maintain inventory of 5S supplies
- Assist production with deploying layout changes
- Assist manufacturing engineers / production supervisors with making documents for process standards / one point lessons
- Collaborate with production, manufacturing engineering and maintenance teams to implement process changes, standard work, and best practices
