About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a CI/CD Platform Engineer for a position with a Major Financial Services Company. This role involves building and operating a reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery platform that enables thousands of developers to efficiently and safely ship software. The successful candidate will have solid technical fundamentals, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related discipline or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of relevant hands-on experience with Cloud Infrastructure and CI/CD
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation and how to apply it with services such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, CodePipeline, or Circle CI
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of AWS
• Experience with JFrog Artifactory
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tooling and automation, such as GitLab CI (preferred), GitHub Actions, Jenkins
• Familiarity with software supply chain security concepts such as reproducible builds, SBOMs, and dependency hygiene
• Experience building, storing, and deploying software artifacts (binaries, packages, containers) and supporting their lifecycle, security, and compliance
• Experience monitoring application health and performance using tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
• Experience creating and maintaining cloud infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience troubleshooting Linux-based operating systems, networking, and applications
• Experience developing services and scripts that interact with APIs using languages like Python or TypeScript

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Ansible Tower
• Sonatype Nexus Repository Manager
• Certifications relevant to cloud (AWS preferred), platforms, and security are a plus

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD platform services alongside senior and lead engineers
• Own well-scoped deliverables within the Development Platforms organization, escalating blockers early
• Demonstrate an automation-first mindset to ensure efficient and reliable delivery
• Apply established security, compliance, and observability practices in the work you deliver
• Build and maintain metrics and dashboards that track platform health against defined SLIs and SLOs
• Troubleshoot production incidents, participate in an on-call rotation, and complete assigned remediation follow-ups
• Participate in code and design reviews, document your work, and help teams adopt platform capabilities
