About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated person to assist the full and part time staff of North Phoenix Baptist Church with their ongoing mission to provide a safe and secure environment for the Church Staff as well as the Congregants and Church visitors.

Requirements

• Dependable, self-motivated individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and a genuine attitude of service.
• Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and take pride in our campus and facilities.
• Knowledge of security protocols and the ability to effectively interact with members of the public in a professional and respectful manner, including with on campus events, our gym facility, church members, staff, and any other guests our weekly campus activities draw in.
• CPR/AED certification is required.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in large-scale security operations is preferred.
• Prior law enforcement or military experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Opening facilities on work days
• Routinely monitoring the campus both on foot and via our campus wide security system
• Operate internal door lock systems
• Assist employees with building access as needed
• Assist in developing policies and procedures
• Check campus to ensure all appropriate areas are locked and secured
• Ability to learn and use basic computer systems/softwares
• Be able to work and preform all tasks with little supervision.
