About The Position

The Church Partnership Specialist is the steady, daily presence to help build the church relationships GEM holds, including but not limited to following up, checking in, keeping partnerships warm and moving forward. Alongside that relational work, this person also teaches and preaches, helping churches see and understand what God is doing across Europe. It's a role built on consistency: showing up, staying in touch, and making sure no partnership goes quiet.

Requirements

  • Strong, credible communicator - comfortable preaching or teaching from a platform
  • Strategic relationship-builder with high relational intelligence
  • Proactive, self-starter mindset able to manage a national travel-based portfolio
  • Genuine conviction about Europe's spiritual need, not just organizational loyalty

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational ministry, missions mobilization, or church partnership/development experience
  • Track record of pulpit or platform ministry
  • Familiarity with sending-church culture and short-term/long-term missions pipelines

Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, and grow relationships with churches across GEM's tiering system (Emerging, Partnering, Vanguard)
  • Use GEM's internal decision-support tools to determine when to visit a church and when to make a financial ask
  • Build and manage a defined, growing portfolio of church partners
  • Preach, teach, and present GEM's vision directly to congregations, staff teams, and elder boards
  • Represent GEM at events, conferences, and church gatherings nationally
  • Help each church partner find its lane - sending people, funding projects, or resourcing the mission
  • Customize and deliver GEM's Church Package offering to fit each partner's context
  • Work cross-functionally with Mobilization, Development, and Marketing to move church-sourced participants through the pipeline - from Short-Term Trips through GAP Year to Long-Term sends
  • Ensure consistent messaging and engagement pathways across every touchpoint
  • Maintain regular communication, follow-up, and scheduling with key church partners
  • Track partnership health and outcomes; present metrics and updates to internal stakeholders
