Church Nursery Child Care Provider
About The Position
A church in Macon, Georgia is seeking dependable child care providers to work in their nursery or Children’s Ministry during church services, group meetings, and other church activities through the SitterTree app. Opportunities are available every Tuesday from September 8 through November 17, 2026, from 9:45 AM–11:45 AM EDT, paying $20/hour. You can choose the dates that work best for your schedule—you can work one Tuesday, several Tuesdays, or all available dates! Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing and able to complete and pass a background check
- Previous child care experience as a babysitter, nanny, church nursery worker, daycare, preschool, or early learning center teacher, etc.
- Experience with infant and toddler care including diaper changing, naptimes, bottle feeding, etc.
- Strong understanding of child development
- Patient, kind, and nurturing
- First aid/CPR certified, including pediatric
Responsibilities
- Provide child care in a church nursery or Children's Ministry during church services, group meetings, and other church activities.
- Care for infants and toddlers, including diaper changing, bottle feeding, and managing nap times.
