About The Position

Seeking cheerful, exceptionally kind and dedicated female actors to create memorable, family friendly Princess Experiences. This role involves creating a realistic Princess experience for families at Busch Gardens Christmas Town. You must be able to speak to guests, maintain character, improv act, and retain blocking and character direction. You should be comfortable speaking to guests for long periods and posing for pictures, consistently performing the same high energy experience repetitively throughout the night of the event, and performing multiple guest meet and greets in outdoor conditions. You will be responsible for taking and implementing direction from the Production Team, maintaining a professional, in character performance for the duration of your shift, and maintaining a professional, kind, engaging demeanor while working with a diverse group of customers, leadership, and co-workers. Other duties may be assigned based on business need.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Maintaining a tidy and safe work area
• Responsible for clocking in and out at the beginning and end of assigned shifts
• Available for shifts between the times of 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM on event nights and during some rehearsals (Shifts will vary and some start later in the day) and Holidays
• Available for rehearsals, to include weekend days which occur on select nights prior to the event openings
• Able to disclose accurate availability for all event/rehearsal dates during the audition process
• Talent must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time outdoors in all Florida weather
• Prepare a one-minute family friendly monologue
• Have headshot and resume prepared at audition
• Form fitting dance attire that allows a full range of movement and tennis or jazz shoes
• Do not wear jeans

• Costumed character auditions are based primarily on movement, non-verbal communication, and physical coordination
• Arrive early enough to stretch and warm up before the audition begins
