About The Position

Wonderly Lights is a premium outdoor lighting company specializing in landscape lighting, permanent lighting, and holiday lighting installations. We’re growing and looking for a dependable Field Lead who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems in the field, and leading small crews to deliver high-quality installations. This role is ideal for someone who wants to take ownership of job sites, lead a small team, and grow with a local business. As our Field Lead, you’ll lead installation crews (typically 2–3 team members) and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You’ll play an important role in delivering installations that customers are excited about and helping build our reputation as a trusted local lighting company.

Requirements

• Experience installing landscape lighting, holiday lighting, or low-voltage systems
• Ability to lead small crews and keep projects moving efficiently
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic electrical knowledge (transformers, wiring, connections)
• Comfort working on ladders and rooftops
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A positive, team-oriented mindset
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• Candidates must be comfortable working on ladders and rooftops during seasonal holiday lighting installations.

Nice To Haves

• Low-voltage certification or electrical background
• Experience with permanent RGB lighting systems
• Landscape, irrigation, roofing, or exterior construction experience

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of 2–3 installers on landscape and holiday lighting installations
• Execute installation plans based on project scope and lighting design
• Ensure crews arrive prepared with materials and equipment
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and make smart decisions in the field
• Coordinate with the office manager to confirm job scope and readiness
• Adapt quickly when plans change due to weather or crew availability
• Maintain safe, organized, and professional job sites
• Deliver a strong customer experience at each installation
• Support training and guidance for newer installers
• Leading a team of 2–3 installers on job sites
• Keeping projects organized and moving efficiently
• Ensuring crews arrive prepared with materials and equipment
• Supporting newer installers and helping them learn installation standards
• Communicating with the office team about job readiness and progress
• Maintaining a safe and professional job site environment
