Christmas Driver (8345)
About The Position
This seasonal position is responsible for driving a Salvation Army vehicle to transport bell ringers to and from kettle locations, as well as transporting kettles and supplies. The driver will also pick up kettles at the end of each shift and return them to kettle headquarters. The role requires maintaining the cleanliness of the vehicle, both inside and out. The work environment involves outdoor conditions with varying weather and traffic, requiring appropriate attire. Physical demands include meeting attendance requirements, communicating in English, operating commercial equipment, and performing continuous stooping, standing, and climbing. The role also involves lifting, carrying, and/or pushing/pulling moderate (25-50 lbs) to heavy (50-100 lbs) materials and donations.
Requirements
- Ability to meet attendance requirements.
- Ability to read and communicate the English language.
- Ability to operate commercial equipment.
- Ability to exert the physical energy required to performing duties given.
- Ability to perform continuous stooping, standing and climbing as well as lift and carry and/or push/pull moderate (25 – 50 lbs) and possibly heavy (50-100 lbs) materials and donations.
- Valid State Driver License

- A High School diploma or GED preferred.
