About The Position

This position will be responsible for operating and maintaining a chop gun and associated equipment, such as a resin pump. The role involves daily start-up, calibrations, and shut-down of this equipment. The Chop Gun Operator will help maintain process control, cycle time, and standard operations within their assigned station, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency within the team. This role also serves as an example to other team members in areas such as attendance, behavior, and productivity.

Requirements

• One or more years of chop gun experience in a lamination environment.
• Ability to complete written forms, read routine procedures and correspondence.

Nice To Haves

• Experience preferably within the marine industry.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the chop gun according to procedure and instruction.
• Perform and complete all preventative and autonomous maintenance on the chop gun and associated equipment daily.
• Perform and complete all PM work orders on equipment.
• Responsible for the start up, calibrations, and shut down of this equipment.
• Confidently read, interpret, all work instructions and the standard work for the assigned station.
• Complete all standard documentation for the assigned station.
• Confidently communicate with other team members, management, and engineers daily.
