About The Position
The Department of Food Science in the College of Agricultural Sciences is seeking an applicant for a part-time job of adjunct instructor for the upcoming Penn State Chocolate Short Course being held at University Park on June 22-26, 2026. Job duties for the short course to include: prepare demonstration samples for use in the chocolate short course, from bean to bar prepare and deliver lectures on aspects of cocoa and chocolate processing deliver practicals and demonstrations of cocoa and chocolate processing, from bean to bar in the pilot plant.

- Successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare demonstration samples for use in the chocolate short course.
- From bean to bar prepare and deliver lectures on aspects of cocoa and chocolate processing.
- Deliver practicals and demonstrations of cocoa and chocolate processing, from bean to bar in the pilot plant.
