About The Position

The Chiropractor is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, with a primary focus on disorders of the spine, joints, and related structures. The Chiropractor will provide evidence-based chiropractic care, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and overall wellness.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
  • Current and unrestricted state licensure to practice chiropractic medicine.
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required or obtain within 90-days of employment.
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and EHR programs.
  • Valid driver’s license and be insurable.
  • Successfully pass drug and alcohol testing, motor vehicle, education, character, and criminal background checks.
  • Able and willing to travel.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience practicing in a rural healthcare setting.
  • Certification in additional treatment modalities such as acupuncture, rehabilitation, or sports medicine.
  • Experience working/member with Native Americans or Native American organizations.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Public Law 93-638: Indian Self-Determination Act.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments within the EHR system.
  • Diagnose musculoskeletal conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide chiropractic adjustments and manual therapies to improve function, reduce pain, and promote healing.
  • Educate patients on injury prevention, posture, ergonomics, exercise, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with organizational, state, and federal requirements.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and other tests as appropriate within the scope of practice.
  • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, nursing, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and organizational meetings.
  • Support community outreach and wellness programs as requested.
  • Understanding of open access schedules for patients to receive care in a timely manner.
  • Monitor clinic overall productivity of the department for overall PHS outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
