Chiropractic Assistant-OCALA
About The Position
Sterling Medical Group is seeking a Chiropractic Assistant for an opportunity to learn and grow within the Healthcare field. This position is located in our Ocala, FL office. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a medical office and a caring, friendly personality, as they will be assisting patients with chiropractic treatment and exercise recovery. This role is similar to a Medical Assistant but specifically supports a Chiropractic Physician. Duties include following physician orders for therapies such as Hot/Cold Therapy, Electric Muscle Stimulation, Mechanical Traction, Unattended Ultrasound, and Supervised Therapeutic Exercise.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a medical office
- Ability to travel as needed to other locations
- Caring and friendly personality
- Must pass a background check and fingerprinting upon hire
- Must pass Level 2 screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
