About The Position

As an entry-level Chimney Tech Apprentice, you will start each day eager to learn and ready to support the lead mason on a variety of projects. You will assist with brick, mortar, and other masonry materials, help set up and break down job sites, and always keep safety at the forefront-especially when working on roofs, scaffolding, and ladders. Your daily routine will include sweeping chimneys, performing fireplace demolitions, cleaning up debris, and staying alert for ways to help out, such as organizing tools and keeping work trucks clean. Throughout your workday, you will take pride in gaining hands-on experience, knowing each day brings new opportunities to grow in your career while contributing to a team that values your efforts.

Requirements

Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
Comfortable working on roofs and scaffolding
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Reliable transportation to and from work
Willingness to work long hours in inclement weather
Ready to participate in all required training and certification, including travel when necessary
Safety conscious and aware of hazards
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
